Stephanie is an experienced Speech and Language Pathologist who is passionate about helping her clients to communicate effectively so they can each reach their full potential. She enjoys working directly with her clients, as well as with their families to ensure that they feel empowered and supported to achieve their goals.

Approach & Bio

Stephanie graduated from the University of Sydney (Australia) with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) degree in 2005. She has worked as a Speech Pathologist in Australia and Hong Kong in private practices, hospitals, schools (mainstream and special schools) and disability organizations both as a Speech Pathologist and Manager. She is a Certified Practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia and a Registered Member of the Hong Kong Association of Speech Therapists and the Hong Kong Association of Dental Sleep Medicine.


She has been a guest lecturer at several Hong Kong Universities and works closely with other professionals to provide a holistic service to children and adolescents with speech, language, oral motor, fluency, feeding and social skills delays and disorders. She has written articles published in South China Morning Post (SCMP) and Playtimes Magazine (on topics such as mouth breathing and tongue ties), and was interviewed in the Hong Kong Confidential Podcast about Myofunctional Disorders and their impact.


Stephanie is one of the few professionals in Hong Kong trained in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. She utilizes these techniques to help children and adults improve their oral and facial strength and coordination, speech, eliminate problematic habits and behaviours (eg. thumb sucking, tongue thrust), develop optimal oral behaviours for speech and swallowing, and overcome eating and drinking challenges. She is also trained in Beckman Oral Motor, Talk Tools Oral Placement Therapy (Levels 1 and 2) and DIR Floortime.


Stephanie has worked at the Jadis Blurton Family Development Center since 2020. She sees clients at the office in Central, as well as making in school visits.
