Simone has experience working with children with a range of communication needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Language Disorders, phonological delays and disorders, and stuttering. Prior to joining BFDC, Simone worked in a private clinic in Melbourne, supporting children and young adults with a range of communication difficulties. During this time, she had the opportunity to work with families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. In Hong Kong, Simone has worked at a non-governmental organisation, conducting individual and group sessions, such as early intervention groups and social skills groups.
Simone strongly believes that every individual has their unique strengths and needs. She is committed to empowering children and their families through providing indivisualised support. Simone also hopes to raise awareness and support the advocacy of neurodiversity.
