Mindfulness for Kids
This group is suitable children 6-7 years of age.

Thursdays, January 4, 11, 18, 25, and February 1, 8 from 6-7 pm.
Children in Hong Kong live in a high stress, fast-paced city with incredible pressure and a competitive education system. While we may not be able to remove these factors from their lives we can help them learn to cope with them better.
Mindfulness has been shown to help children lower stress and anxiety levels, improving focus and attention both in and outside of school, helping with emotional regulation and facilitating development of a more positive outlook.
This group has been developed to teach children aged 7-9 years mindfulness and various techniques they can take away and integrate into their day to day lives. Techniques will be taught in each session as well as practiced together to ensure that they can be replicated outside of the group with ease.
This group will also include an initial assessment session with each child/parent to learn more about how mindfulness can help them, and to ensure that the program is adapted with the individual needs of each group member in mind.
Course Fees HK$5500 for 8 sessions: 6 groups, 1 individual needs assessment session, 1 individual follow-up recommendations session.
Any desired refunds must be requested by one week prior to the first scheduled group session (by December 18, 2017). Prorated refunds will not be offered after these dates in the event of partial or full non-attendance after December 28.
