This course is suitable for children 11-13 years old.
Developing study skills and effective habits early on is fundamental to success not only in school but in building the foundations for appropriate organizational and time management skills that are essential for success in the workforce.
This course is the second part to Study Skills 1 and will work on expanding on what scholars learned in the first course. Topics covered include expansion on time management, planning, prioritising, note-taking and consolidation, memory aids, staying motivated, avoiding procrastination and managing stress.
New topics such as standardized test taking, tracking progress, developing a growth mindset and reading skills (e.g. skimming and research) will also be included.
