She has worked extensively with children, adolescents and adults who suffer from a variety of disorders, among them depression, post-traumatic stress, autism, anxiety, bereavement, marital conflicts, attentional deficits, behavioral or impulse control disorders, and schizophrenia. Ms. Kou graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, and is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Rebecca is a certified Speech and Language Pathologist who practiced in the United States for six years before moving to Hong Kong. Rebecca has extensive experience assessing and treating children with speech and language delays and disorders including the areas of articulation, fluency, and voice. She has treated children with Apraxia of Speech, Down's Syndrome, Autism, Auditory Processing Disorders, Traumatic Brain Injuries and Hearing Impairments. Rebecca provides therapy for children with expressive and receptive language difficulties as well.
Rebecca also has experience assessing and treating adults that have suffered from Traumatic Brain Injuries or strokes resulting in Apraxia of Speech, Dysarthria and Aphasia. She offers services in accent reduction, fluency and voice therapy as well.
