Vivian is a speech-language therapist with nine years of direct clinical and educational experience with children and adults with oral communication needs. She enjoys working with young children with speech-language difficulties, as well as preschool age children on the Autism Spectrum who require support navigating communication systems.
For nine years, Vivian has been working directly with children and adults of all ages on issues related to speech clarity, communication (using language), and learning. Prior to moving to Hong Kong, she worked in numerous settings as a special education teacher and as a speech-language pathologist in the United States, including public schools, private schools, the subacute medical setting, and private clinics.
She is passionate about her work with those with communication difficulties and takes a warm, yet structured, evidence-based approach in her therapy sessions. She is especially experienced in working with preschool- and elementary-aged children on the Autism Spectrum who have a wide variety of communication intents and capabilities.
