In his journey as an educator Henrik has worked with dyslexic, AD/HD, and gifted populations, with an emphasis on literacy acquisition. In his role as MD he carries out the mission and vision that has been central to the practice since its inception. This includes advocacy for literacy, special needs issues, inclusive education and better understanding of learning difficulties, which continues through workshops, talks and publications whenever he is able.
Henrik received his M.A. in Psychology from Edinburgh University before returning to Hong Kong, which was his childhood home. After receiving his training in the Orton-Gillingham approach he shifted his focus to literacy education, working mostly one-to-one with students struggling to read, write, and spell at grade level. He has also worked extensively with gifted students, AD/HD students, test preparation, and teacher training.
