The Jadis Blurton Family Development Center offers online services for those who are not able to visit our offices.
Online counselling or therapy is beneficial for:
- Individuals who are travelling
- Busy working individuals
- Individuals who are home bound
- Those who are more comfortable opening up in the comfort of their own home
- Those who are uncomfortable with visiting new places or being in public, but who later hope to visit our offices in person
- Those who do not have immediate access to such services

Therapy and Counselling
For Therapy & Counselling, our psychologists have a set of criteria to determine if someone is suitable for online therapy, and also have clear protocols in place to ensure client security, safety, and wellness. Online services are available in English and Cantonese for:
- Mild/moderate anxiety/depression
- Behavioral issues
- Reducing unhelpful habits
- Relationship difficulties
- Planning for the future
- Dealing with transitions
- Grief and bereavement
- Gender-related issues

Speech, Language & Literacy
Speech, Language & Literacy services are offered on a case-by-case basis. Online services are available in English for:
- Speech fluency (stuttering)
- Speech clarity
- Receptive and expressive language
- Social skills
- Literacy skills – reading, writing and spelling
- Teaching parents how to facilitate their child’s communication skills at home
The BFDC uses a secure platform for all our online services. Please note that this requires adequate connectivity.
