Half-Day Study Skills Course

Description

This course is suitable for students in Grade 6, 7 and 8 (Year 7, 8 and 9 / Primary 6, Form 1 and 2).

Students are faced with a variety of demands, including academic, social, and personal ones. It can be a challenge to balance them all

Developing study skills and effective habits early on is fundamental to being successful and keeping a healthy life balance during busy times. These sessions aim to offer strategies and resources to learn effectively and manage stress. The skills learned in this class will be helpful now, and in years to come.

Topics that will be covered in the course include:

  • Time management, planning, prioritising
  • Breaking down large projects into small steps
  • Note-taking and consolidation, memory aids, study skills
  • Staying motivated, avoiding procrastination
  • Managing stress, the importance of taking breaks

Fees & applications

BFDC -- $2000

Any desired refunds must be requested at least seven days prior to the first scheduled group session. Prorated refunds will not be offered after this dates in the event of partial or full non-attendance.
