Social Emotional Regulation

Suitable for children 7-11 years old

Dates & times

 THS – The Grove   July 26 (Mon) – 30 (Fri), 2021  9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Description

This course is suitable for children 7-11 years old.

The last year has been a challenging one. With schools switching between in-person to online instruction and the loss of beloved extracurricular activities it has made for an unpredictable existence! For children especially, this ever-changing way of living can leave them struggling to absorb change and the big emotions that accompany it.

In this course, children will focus on:

  • learning about emotions and perceptions
  • how to deal with conflict
  • developing coping skills
  • understanding how thoughts, behaviors and emotions are linked

We will draw on art and play-therapy techniques, as well as CBT-based approaches, in order to foster the social emotional development of your child.

Led by Katrina Rozga CCC MC (Psych)
